Nana Islana was born out of love for where I grew up— I wanted to make intentional and mindful pieces. That's why we're dedicated to only source our fabrics from deadstock and produce small runs, slowly made here in Puerto Rico.
Why Deadstock?
Deadstock fabrics are leftover fabrics from other brands, fashion houses, designers, etc that would otherwise end up in landfills. They are rescued to be repurposed and reduce waste.
It's been such a privilege to make clothing for so many cool people who get the vision and purpose. I'm eternally grateful for all the love and support throughout this journey— a life long dream.
